Simeon, Paul and I had to travel to Nairobi to renew Simeon's passport at the US Embassy. All went well, and after our appointment, Paul had a vision-casting meeting with a group of pastors in one of the slum areas of the city. Simeon and I took the opportunity to spend the afternoon in the beautiful Karura Forest - a surprisingly dense reserve in the middle of the city! The restaurant on the edge of the reserve even had milkshakes and chicken nuggets, which made for one happy kid!
As a mama, I was reminded how special it is to spend one-on-one time with my boys. I just love this kiddo. ♥️
